Beverly Hills Village Park, 18801 Beverly Rd., Beverly Hills, 48025

A 35-acre wonderland comes with a sizable sled hill that’s perfect for the whole family.

Booth Park Sled Hill, southwest corner of Old Woodward & Harmon, Birmingham, 48009

Booth Park is an ideal option for beginner sledders. It includes a small slope with an expansive playscape, a labyrinth and tunnel. Take your little ones and show them what it’s like to slide down alongside you.

Lincoln Hills Golf Course, 2666 W 14 Mile Rd., Birmingham, 48009

Lincoln Hills is not only a great park to visit while it’s warm but there is an opportunity to sled downhill the same climbing sources in the winter weather.

Civic Center Sled Hill, 40700 Romeo Plank Rd., Clinton Twp., 48038

This park is tucked in between the corner of Canal and Romeo Plank with hills of all sizes that for small to large sleds and saucers.

Snowy Ridge Park, 753 Welch Rd. #601, Commerce Charter Twp., 48390

For those more westside, Snowy Ridge is a must-see sledder’s paradise.

Right across from the popular Outdoor Adventure Center the Riverfront Park has sledding for all ages, including smaller slopes for beginners.

With more than 200 acres to explore, Heritage is well-known to residents throughout the year. In the wintertime, it comes equipped with some great trails and slopes.

Vernier Hill, corner of Verner Rd. & Lakeshore Dr., Grosse Pointe Woods, 48326

Vernier Hill is known for its winter sporting events, including some of the best sledding in the area.

Civic Center Park, 360 13 Mile Rd., Madison Heights, 48071

CCP has sledding conveniently located in Madison Heights and the surrounding areas of Royal Oak, Clawson, Sterling Heights and others.

This expansive park is home to some seriously large hills that sport some great sledding areas in the cold weather months among other great things to do for the whole family.

Kensington Metro Park, 4570 Huron River Pkwy., Milford, 48380

Kensington Metro Park also has plenty for the whole family to do including sledding areas for beginners to advanced slope riders. Spend all day riding, then check out some of the park’s wildlife.

For those Downriver, this well-known sledding attraction is a large, easy-to-find hill near the wave pool complex.

A sledding adventure with a warming room is the perfect combination to be outside all day without getting too worn down.

The Washago Pond and the Chestnut Picnic Area of Willow Metro Park includes sledding spots as well as opportunities for ice fishing or skating.

This hidden gem is a well-recognized sledding spot for Novi residents. There is also a large playground and plenty of space for some snow-time fun.

One of Oakland’s highest points, the challenging hill located between Kline and Rochester Rd. is open daily. There is also a warming shelter for taking breaks in between.

Just under 25 acres, this newest destination situated within Orion Township community park offers a steep hill for daring sledders.

Bloomer Park Sled Hill, 345 John R Rd., Rochester, 48307

There is not only plenty of space for sledding and tobogganing on the hill, but this park includes heated restrooms for warmups.

Borden Park, 1400 E Hamlin Rd., Rochester Hills, 48307

Centered in the middle of surrounding neighborhoods, this is an excellent spot for residents looking for a quiet sledding space.
