Whimsical Wit

Jim Shaffer and Associates is a proud member of the Woodward Corridor Community and we love to put the spotlight on our neighborhood community partners. Meet Tricia, owner of Whimsical Wit!

Tricia's adorable gift shop, locate on Hilton in Ferndale, can't be missed! She has a stunning floral mural painted on the exterior. She says that the concept for Whimsical Wit has been ever evolving. Her family worked for Jacobsons so she grew up getting to run wild in a Department store! After working herself in a little shop on Mackinac Island, Tricia knew this was her calling.

Starting out on the local craft show circuit, she upgraded to a camper called Whimsical Wheels! She calls it her 1st born child. After a complete renovation she rolled around Michigan for a year and a half before opening up her brick & mortar in Ferndale.

Whimsical Wit is a home & gift shop offering local handmade items, decor, bath & body, and so much more! Covid shutdowns and new habits have effected her business. She pivoted into selling online and now has a thriving website too!
