Alchemy Color Lab

ALCHEMY COLOR LAB IN ROYAL OAK!

Welcome to Community Conversations: ALCHEMY COLOR LAB! We visited virtually with Nick Moore-Perez, owner of Alchemy Color Lab in downtown Royal Oak, to chat about what makes his salon different from others.

Jim Shaffer and Associates is a proud member of the Woodward Corridor Community and we love to put the spotlight on our neighborhood small businesses. Meet Nick Moore-Perez of Alchemy Color Lab in Royal Oak!

Nick has paired his decade of experience with hair and his deep passion for education to open the next evolution of Alchemy Color Lab – a fresh larger space in downtown Royal Oak at Washington and 4th Street. The new Alchemy Color Lab home opened in October with strict COVID sanitation measures in place, including 6-ft spaced stations and increased air circulation and sanitation measures, and is now booking up for the upcoming holiday season.

Alchemy began as an idea for an evolved style of salon where both the artist and the guest can thrive and feel their best. Says Nick, β€œWe believe first and foremost in a good relationship between our guests and artists.” Nick encourages beginning your Alchemy experience with an in-person (or Zoom!) artist consultation where an honest conversation takes place – What are your goals? What approach would work best with your hair texture and history?

With the salon reopened and booking through the holidays, the time is now to schedule your artist consultation before the new year. Nick and his team communicate with guests via text and phone, but the best way to explore Alchemy services and book an appointment is at alchemycolorlab.com. Thanks to Nick and his team at Alchemy Color Lab for being such a valued member of our small business community!
